What to Expect at the Pottery Adult Workshop
Discover the art of throwing pottery on the wheel in our Pottery Adult Workshop. During this 4-hour introduction, you’ll learn essential techniques for shaping, centring, and refining your pottery pieces. You’ll create two unique items—one wheel-thrown and one hand-built coil pot. With access to four pottery wheels, you’ll divide your time between wheel throwing and traditional coil pot making. After crafting, your pieces will be glazed and fired, ready for collection in approximately 3 weeks.
- Learn wheel throwing & hand-building techniques: Create a functional wheel-thrown pot and a hand-built coil pot.
- Access to pottery wheels: Split time between wheel throwing and coil pot making.
- All materials included: Everything needed to create your pottery pieces is provided.
- Items fired and glazed: Finished pottery will be glazed, fired, and ready for collection in 3 weeks.
- Group size: Limited to 8 participants for personalised attention.
- Course duration: 4 hours of hands-on pottery making.
